Partner Roc Oil said the Castanha-3 appraisal well sidetrack has been drilled to a total measured depth of 2525 metres and suspended after hitting a gross hydrocarbon column of about seven metres in the Chela formation.

The Australian outfit said production testing of the Castanha-2 and Castanha-3 appraisal wells is set to start during December after the Castanha-4 appraisal well has been drilled.
